Choirbee of the Week: Sarah Abramson '21

This week's Choirbee of the Week went above and beyond to help Dr. Graham and the rest of the officer team to make Family and Friends Weekend Concert go as smoothly as possible... congratulations, Sarah Abramson '21! Let's learn more about this awesome member of our choir!

1. Where are you originally from?
Brooklyn, New York!

2. What is your major?
Undecided, was thinking Bio but potentially English.

3. Who is your all-time favorite musical artist?
That's hard. It changes often and depends on what type of music I want to listen to.

4. What is a song that always gets stuck in your head?
Also always changing. Recently it was "Pocketful of Sunshine."

5. What is your favorite piece the Choir has performed this year? Why?
I love "Malala" because it is such a power message (also she is so amazing).

6.Who is your personal hero/heroine?
Real life heroine would have to be my mom, she's worked so hard and always supports me. Fictional heroine is a toss up between Wonder Woman and Black Widow.

7. What is your favorite spot to hang out on campus?
The chairs near the windows on the second floor of Clapp. They're so comfy!

8. What is something you can’t live without?
My minifridge. I love to cook.

9. What’s your favorite food?
It's a long list of items but a definite favorite is sushi.

10. If you could have fancy brunch with anyone (living or dead) who would it be and why?
My best friend Anne because I never see her. Or Emma Watson because she's awesome.

11. What movie could you watch over and over?
Another constantly changing answer but a classic is My Neighbor Totoro.

12. If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go?
Tokyo, Japan

13.What is your favorite thing about the Wellesley College Choir?
The people. Everyone is so nice!

14. What is your favorite word?
Magical

15. Something people wouldn’t guess by looking at you is:
I have double jointed elbows and extendable shoulders.
