Heather Gager is a dedicated newbee and our choirbee of the week! She commits herself to not only choir and chamber singers, but also the Widows. What are your rose (great memory), bud (what you’re looking forward to), and thorn (not so great memory) from the year so far!
"rose: coming onto campus and enjoying the new england fall for the first time!
bud: so excited for the choir's christmas concert this year; our program is incredible & so fun to sing
thorn: having to walk up at least 1 hill to get to my dorm..."
What has been your favorite part of choir so far? (this could be anything, a favorite aspect like singing or bonding, a magical music moment, or what you’re excited for!
"just being in a full, live choir again! i missed hearing different parts come together & sing awesome music"
What is your favorite spot on campus?
"i LOVE the claflin common room. i don't live in tower court but i make the trek there everytime"
If you could invent your own class at Wellesley, what would it be and why?
"i would love to have a class on the analysis of original movie soundtracks! i would love to delve into maybe thomas newman (1917) or alexandre desplat's (little women 2019) entire filmography and analyze their music choices etc..."
