Meet our Choirbee of the Week, Bianca!

Our choirbee of the week is the fabulous Bianca Pio! Bianca is always ready to answer questions at rehearsal and serve as a leader for our newbees. They do an amazing job of getting to know our newbees and making sure they feel welcomed every day, and their leadership and attentiveness in rehearsals is very valued. "Bianca - they/them"

What are your rose (great memory), bud (what you’re looking forward to), and thorn (not so great memory) from the year so far!

"Rose: seeing everyone dressed up and singing together on flower Sunday. Bud: vespers! I love the music for the concert and traditions that we have around it. Thorn: the name game taking legit 100 hours

What has been your favorite part of choir so far? (this could be anything, a favorite aspect like singing or bonding, a magical music moment, or what you’re excited for!

"I loved going on tour my first year and am really looking forward to going again this year. " 

What is your favorite spot on campus?

"The music library!"

If you could invent your own class at Wellesley, what would it be and why?

" I would love to see a music psychology class. I find the new field of music therapy to be really interesting and would love to learn more about the benefits of music on the mind."
