Choirbee of the Week: Megan D'Alessandro '21
This week Megan D'Alessandro is taking home the Choirbee! She's an eager, hard-working member, who always brings her A-game to rehearsal. We chatted with Megan to learn a little more about our Choirbee of the Week.
1. Where are you originally from?
I am originally from Lewiston, Maine.
2. What is your major?
I'm undeclared right now, but I'm thinking about majoring in either English or Sociology.
3. Who is your all-time favorite musical artist?
I love The Beatles! I've been listening to them since I was 11.
4. What is a song that always gets stuck in your head?
"A Day in the Life" by The Beatles always gets stuck in my head.
5. What is your favorite piece the Choir has performed this year? Why?
"Stars" is by far my favorite piece! I think the harmonies combined with the glasses are beautiful and create a unique sound.
6. Who is your personal hero/heroine?
Even though she's not technically a real person, I really look up to Wonder Woman.
7. What is your favorite spot to hang out on campus?
Probably the fourth floor of Clapp. I like to sit in the comfy chairs and look at the lake while studying.
8. What is something you can't live without?
I can't live without my yellow crocs.
9. What's your favorite food?
Tiramisu.
10. If you could have fancy brunch with anyone (living or dead) who would it be and why?
I would have brunch with John Lennon because he was such an amazing musician; I'd love to learn more about his time as a Beatle and how he wrote his songs.
11. What movie could you watch over and over?
Wonder Woman.
12. If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go?
London, England.
13. What is your favorite thing about the Wellesley College Choir?
Making new friends!
14. What is your favorite word?
Dazzle

I'm really good at pogo-sticking!
