Meet the Choirbee of the Week: Nina!
2. Favorite musical artist: Florence + The Machine.
3. Favorite song to put you in a happy mood: “I Saw It On Your Keyboard” by Hellogoodbye.
4. Who would star in a film made about your life? Me, obviously!
5. What’s the last book you read for fun? Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, by Tom Stoppard.
6. What’s a song that always gets stuck in your head? The Pentatonix cover of “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore. Well, also every other cover Pentatonix has ever done.
7. What is something you can’t live without? Coffee. Coffee, coffee, coffee.
8. If you could have fancy brunch with anyone (living or dead) who would it be and why? It’s hackneyed, but I would just love to hear what goes on in William Shakespeare’s head.
9. What’s your favorite food? I like basically everything, but I’m a particular fan of Lebanese food.
10. Who is your personal hero/heroine: Sherlock Holmes (no, of the original stories!).
11. What movie could you watch over and over? Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. I figure something new out every time I see it.
12. If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go? Probably Johannesburg, South Africa – it’s apparently one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and I’ve never been to the Southern Hemisphere!
13. If you could go back and visit any time period, what time would you travel to and why? Probably the Victorian era. Not only were fashion and architecture gorgeous, it was the time of a lot of major scientific discoveries.
14. What is your favorite word? Zeugma.
15. Something people wouldn’t guess by looking at you is: I’m actually Jewish! (And Hindu, but people tend to guess that one.)
16. Why is a raven like a writing desk? Because Poe wrote on both.
