Friends, Family, and an Amazing Concert!

What a weekend! The campus was positively buzzing with activity due to Homecoming and Friends and Family Weekend, and the same could be said for the Wellesley College Music Department. On Saturday at 3 PM, the Wellesley College Choir and Chamber Singers, directed by Dr. Lisa Graham; The Brandeis-Wellesley Orchestra, conducted by Neil Hampton; and the Wellesley Chamber Music Society, directed by David Russel performed the fall repertoire they learned in but four short weeks. For a full chapel, the Choir performed quite a few pieces, including Jubilee, I Wish You Peace, This Little Light of Mine, Duo Seraphim, and Der Gärtner.

On behalf of the Choir, we would like to extend a hearty thank you to everyone who came to support us our fundraiser prepared by our fundraising committee and to enjoy our performance. It was an incredible first concert, and every member—from our newest choir bees to our seniors—had so much fun connecting with each other as a group and with the music we grew to love. Below is a recording of our performance taken by Jenny Xie '18.

Enjoy!
