Alumnae Achievement Awards and Retreat

We had many busy days this week! On Thursday, we performed at the Alumnae Achievement Awards where our song "Still I Rise" got mentioned in one of the alumna's speeches. There were some amazing recipients this year, and we loved getting to hear about their times at Wellesley. And, as always, our performance of the Alma Mater was joined by many alums singing along, making it all the more powerful!

Waiting to sing.

Look at all these excited faces!

So excited to be at the Alumnae Achievement Awards!

On Saturday, we had a Spring Retreat in order to prepare our repertoire for tour. We leave for Montreal and Québec City in two weeks on March 16! We practiced our clapping skills for a new French Canadian song, sang some beautiful Brahms in preparation for our joint piece with Rutgers coming up on April 6 at Baum, and ate some delicious Boloco burritos for lunch!

Dr. Graham dressed as the bee, ready for retreat to begin!

Look at all that intense singing. We are working our butts off preparing for tour!

Are you as excited as we are for tour?! Stay tuned for more information!
