A Very Wellesley (College Choir) Weekend!
Talk about doing the most!
Wellesley is hosting its “”Very Wellesley Weekend,” which means that it is also a very Wellesley College Choir weekend for us.
We were given the honor of singing at Alumnae
Achievement Awards. This year, Elyse Cherry ’75, Kwan Kew Lai ’74, and
Lorraine O’Grady ’55 were chosen to be the recipients this year for
their trailblazing work in finance and social equity
activism, infectious disease research and disaster relief work; and
conceptual art.
We performed “Women Make the Earth Move,” “Malala,”
and the Wellesley College Alma Mater to celebrate these incredible
women and our entire alumnae community.
The next day we found ourselves center-stage yet
again for our Family & Friends Weekend Concert, also featuring the
Brandeis-Wellesley Orchestra, Chamber Singers, and the Chamber Music
Society.

This concert is always an enjoyable one because it
is inspiring to hear what the entire music community is up to throughout
the semester, and we heard some beautiful work performed on Saturday.
