Seoul-ful Adventures: Part 1

It's been a jam-packed couple of days for the Wellesley College Choir! We hit the ground running on Saturday after a warm welcome by our tour guides, and later devoured our first Korean meal. Yesterday we got our first dose of sight-seeing with a walking tour of the Gyeongbokgung Palace, complete with a Changing of the Guard Ceremony! Those past two days culminated in our first concert: singing for the Myungsung Presbyterian Church, the largest Presbyterian church in the world.

You never would have guessed these smiling faces just got off a 20 hour flight...

Our first Korean meal: bulgogi beef and bibimbap!

Fresh kimchi was a huge hit with the Choir

Day one of sight-seeing was the Gyeongbokgung Palace.

The Changing of the Guard ceremony may only be for show nowadays, but it was amazing to see!

Wellesley College Choir's first time performing in front of thousands! We were honored to perform two pieces for the congregation of Myungsung Presbyterian Church.
